I got my first wheaten in 1991 and became involved in the world of dog showing. I bred my first litter in 1993.  I made up my first champion in 1998, which was Ch Ballysax Bogue.  I had the pleasure of knowing Maureen Holmes of the famous Holmenocks  Kennel and spent countless hours  talking wheatens.  I owe her for my enthusiasm for this breed.

At shows I would always find myself at the Kerry blue ring admiring them.  Through meeting Philip O’Brien and Jarka Poulova of the Edbrios kennel,
I fulfilled my long time dream of owning this wonderful breed.

My first Kerry litter was bred in conjunction with the Edbrios kennel  in 2007, the offspring from this litter are currently being successfully campaigned in the USA and many countries across Europe.  I am grateful to Philip and Jarka for their continuous help and support.

My dogs live as part of the family with myself and Jenny in County Wicklow which is known as the Garden of Ireland.

Through my hobby I have met some wonderful people from all over the world.  I hope you enjoy my website, please feel free to sign my guest book or send me an email.
